Time tracker browser extension for Chrome and Firefox
Start and stop your TrackLode timer from the toolbar, and run Focus sessions without opening the app.
Edge Add-ons: coming soon. Until then Edge can install from the Chrome Web Store.
What it does
- Timer: pick a project, start and stop, and see the running time. Entries land in your TrackLode timesheet.
- Focus: Focus, short break and long break phases with a countdown, a badge on the toolbar icon and a notification when a phase ends.
- Your settings: the Focus settings of your account are available from the popup.
- Private by design: no analytics and no remote code. It only talks to tracklode.com.
The extension is part of the Pro plan. You create an access token in TrackLode under Settings, Browser extension, and paste it into the extension's options.
Extension questions
Do I need a paid plan?
Yes. The browser extension is part of Pro. On the Free plan the Settings page shows an upgrade prompt instead of the token form, and the extension shows that TrackLode Pro is required.
Which browsers are supported?
Chrome and Firefox from their stores. Edge can install from the Chrome Web Store, and an Edge Add-ons listing is coming soon.
Does it work without a TrackLode account?
No. It is a companion to your account: it starts and stops the timer and Focus sessions that you also see in the web app.
